This will apply to ALL shows in Area 36 and judges will be informed of this. It is not fair that members of the committee, course builders, judges and afternoon competitors have to wait, which in turn makes the day extra long. Some have a long way to travel home!!

Class 6. The Horse and Hound Foxhunter – first round / 1.20m open. For registered horses rule 310, A7. Speed 350mpm. In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split. Horses may compete in one section only.
Entry qualifications for the Foxhunter section:

  1. (A)  For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 700 points. Four double clears will qualify – in accordance with rule 310.6

  2. (B)  For all registered horses born on or after 1st January 2008 irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of seven years or under in the same calendar year as the Horse and Hound Foxhunter Final – in accordance with rule 310.6. Four double clears to qualify.

ACORN EQUESTRIAN - CROSSHANDS

Class 7: The Dyffryn Tywi Equine Clinic & Acorn Equestrian – Cross hands - Mini/Major Qualifier – Pembroke County Show 2015 – Points awarded for 1st – 10th place.

MINI/MAJOR COMPETITION (Relay competition)

Mini section: Open to – Junior Members of British Showjumping also non-registered members of British Showjumping. Riding ponies 128cms, 138cms & 148cms. Ponies are to be ridden by Junior Riders up to the end of the calendar year in which the rider reaches the age of 12, 14 & 16 respectively in accordance with rules 77.12/13 & 77.15.4. For clarity in this class: A junior rider, may only compete in one section either ‘Mini’ or ‘major’ throughout the series. Major Section: Open to - Pony Associate, Associate & Full jumping members of British Show Jumping on registered horses.

Run under Table C. – Drawn partner / Drawn order.
1. Both rounds against the clock. 2. Pony (mini) rider to go first
3. Horse rider (major) to commence their round from a holding area when the pony lands over the last fence.
4. Horse rider can complete the pony round if they have been eliminated.
5. Should the horse (major) get eliminated, both riders are deemed eliminated.
6. 4 seconds added for a knock down. Height of course: Pony 80 - 85 cms. Horse 1.00 m - 1.05m.
Pony riders to walk the course with an ‘appointed’ rider/trainer at the qualifying shows.

The open section is open to all: however, those ponies competing in either the Open or the Newcomer Section, ridden by junior members who have not won a total of 500 points are eligible for double clear qualification for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.0m Championship. Four double clears (subject to revision) to qualify for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m Championship at the British Showjumping National Championships. Qualification is Pony / rider combination.

**NEW FOR 2015** - ONE double clear round in this class will qualify pony and rider combinations for the Welsh Cottage Cakes – 1.0m final at the Pembroke County Show on Thursday 20 August, 2015. Competition cards are available from the Judges. For more information please see the Area 36 website.

Class 12: Squibb Group Pony Foxhunter / 1.10m open. (both to incorporate The Pony Restricted Rider 1.10m qualifier. For registered ponies. Rule 404. Table A7. Speed 325mpm. In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split. Ponies may compete in one section only. The Open section is open to all; however those ponies competing in the Open or the Foxhunter Section, who are ridden by junior members who have not won a total of 350 points in the 2014 calendar year are eligible for double clear qualification for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.10m Championship to be held at the British Showjumping National Championships. Qualification is Pony/Rider combination.(Qualification period for 2015 final is 1st May 2014 – 30th April 2015). First rosette sponsored by Squibb Group.

Rules :
1. The show organisers reserve the right to refuse entries without assigning a reason.
2. The show organisers have the right to cancel any part or the whole of the show.
3. No unauthorised person shall enter the show or collecting rings.
4. The judges decision is final.
5. All objections must be lodged in writing with the show secretary within 30 minutes of the completion of judging the competition involved. A deposit of £100 must accompany the objection which will be returned if the Jury of Appeal upholds the objection.
6. Correct and safe dress must be worn at all times. Protective headgear must be worn at all times when mounted on any part of the showground.
7. It is the duty of riders in the interest of safety to ensure that their headgear provides proper protection, is correctly fitted and remains in place.
8. All owners and riders (where applicable parents or guardians) of horses/ponies competing in any jumping event shall be deemed to be subject to the rules and regulations of the B.S.
9. Each competitor, owner or where applicable parent or guardian shall be solely responsible for consequences of loss or damage done to, or occasioned by or arising from any animal in their care and indemnify the show organisers, their officials, agents and invites against all liabilities, damages, actions, claims, proceedings, costs and or expenses in relation to or arising from his/her presence at the show.
10. The show organisers cannot be held responsible for any accident, theft, loss or damage, howsoever caused, arising out of or at the show.

Cothi Bridge Show 2015 

Classes 108–117 are not restricted to BSJ members or registered horse or ponies (Non registered Pony-Horse/ rider combinations will be given a Free ticket to ride)

SHOW JUMPING

Only the vehicle driver will be allowed into the showfield free of

charge, all other passengers MUST pay the normal entrance fee. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

Classes are run under British Showjumping rules. Rule 76.6 will apply to all Showjumping classes (108-117)

Junior classes to start at 8.30 a.m. prompt. Normal entry fee PLUS a surcharge of £4.00 will be charged on all entries taken on the day and £2.00 for First Aid Cover.
